The Entry Level First Officer

For those of you who don't know, the first few years are a financial hell for the first officers that fly regional airplanes. To drive the point home I found a YouTube video with the average first officers yearly pay for various airlines. However those who are able to do this will find that the lack of pay in the beginning pays off extremely well in the end (if you avoid incidences and lay offs).

"When you think about flying, it's nuts really. Here you are at about 40,000 feet, screaming along at 700 miles an hour and you're sitting there drinking Diet Pepsi and eating peanuts. It just doesn't make any sense." - David Letterman
