Quick Look into Flight Training

There are certain questions that non-flying friends and family have ask me that put a smirk on my face. I realize that those outside of the work/flight/school regimen don't really understand the amount of ground work and other tasks that must be accomplished outside of flying. These tasks can extend far into the act of actually flying, too. As you'll see in the video below, half of which is taken on the ground, a camera follows a flight student as he completes some of his instrument training with Aviation Adventures (a FAR Part 61 & 141 school).

I like this because it shows a lot of the pre-flight weather conversation and is probably the most accurate eight minute overview of a training flight that I've seen on YouTube.
