James May as "a British television presenter and award-winning journalist". You might know him best from his role of car enthusiast and critic on BBC's "Top Gear". However, I know him best from a U-2 clip that I've seen about a thousand times (and so have you if you watch the videos on my blog) on youtube. Well, curious to see the entire video of where the U-2 clip came from, I did some searching only to find what I consider one of the best documentaries that I've seen in a very long time.
James May on the Moon is a tribute to the Apollo astronauts and their internal and external quest of exploration. For anyone interested in space, the moon landings, the cold war, aviation, exploration, or anyone who just enjoys cheeky british humor- the four links below make up the entire documentary.
I feel everyone should see it.
"For years politicians have promised the Moon. I'm the first one to be able to deliver it." -
Richard Nixon
