Joint Services Open House 2011
Last year I wrote that "I feel like this show is a life experience for civilians who rarely have contact with the military and for those who haven't or don't often get to go to an airshow. I think many people are going to find an excitement they didn't know was there when they see the Blue Angels up close". This feeling remains the same this year however it's going to be the Thunderbirds on center stage.
I highly encourage everyone to go and would love to go with a big group. If you're interested in coming with me, the details are below.
Date: Saturday, May 21, 2011
Time: 10:00am
The Plan: Meeting at the Green Belt Metro Station at 10am and taking the Metro to the Branch Ave Metro Station. From there we'll take the shuttles on to Andrews Air Force Base. If you'd prefer to meet us at the Airshow you can find directions to the shuttles [FedEx Field] by clicking here.
Below are two videos from last years show. Hope to see some of you out there!
