Lewis University Loses an Aviation Student

On Saturday the 7th of May, I was informed that a Lewis aviation student was killed in a plane crash while ferrying a Czech Sport Aircraft AS Piper Sport (Tail Number N420PS) from Florida up to Illinois. I was waiting for the initial preliminary report to come out before I posted anything as I do not want this post to be a source of speculation. Well the preliminary report is now out as of last Wednesday, and you can read it here. Below is a video of an AS Piper Sport.

My sincere condolences go out to the Tezak family, as your son seemed larger than life. You can read more about Scott and his love for aviation by here.
