Inspiration for a Rough Day

My little boy fractured his leg while playing today and despite the doctors optimism I can't help but find myself feeling helpless. The break isn't the end of the world but I saw it happen and at three (almost four) years old running around is your life. I've been up most of tonight thinking about it and I guess the guilt of leaving for school for another month is also taking it's toll. That little boy means everything to me and thinking about being away from him again soon hurts. So sitting here tonight, in an effort to ease my mind, I've been searching for something to inspire me or calm me down.

Below are three videos, two of Space Flight. The first showcases footage from the movie "For All Mankind" which was a film put together to give NASA's Apollo program a more personal feel to it. The second is narrated footage taken from the International Space Station as it circles the globe. Lastly, there's one last video that I find to be beautiful and the music suits my mood.
